Annie Ruth Belcher Miles, 92, of Lanett passed away on April 12, 2020 at EAMC-Lanier in Valley, Alabama.

Ms. Annie Ruth was born in Lanett, Alabama on April 14, 1927 to the late Horald and Molly Frankie House Sorrell. She was a skilled beautician and owned her own beauty shop for many years. She was a member of Lanett Congregational Christian Church where she played the piano and organ. She also loved spending time with her family and friends.

Ms. Annie Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; Spouses Joe S. Belcher, Sr. and Junior Miles; sister Joyce Sorrell; and daughter Peggy Belcher Webb.

She is survived by sons Joe S. (Pat) Belcher, Jr., Bob (Joy) Belcher; son-in-law Bill Webb; grandchildren Alana Belcher (Dave) Sirmans, Angel Belcher (Guthrie) Wallace, Jacob T. (Chrissie) Belcher, Joseph W. Webb, and Jamie Waldrop; nine great grandchildren; sister Hylance G. Mahan and brother Hugh (Paula) Sorrell.

Due to current restrictions, a memorial service will be held at a later date.

Services have been entrusted to Bluffton Funeral Services, Lanett, Alabama.
