Valley-Point Funeral Home & Cremation in Lanett announces the passing of Connie Mae Turner on Wednesday, August 28th, 2024.
Connie Mae Turner was the strongest woman with the sweetest heart. On September 6th, 1946, she was born to her parents George and Mae Harper in Alexander City. She was a sister to two brothers, Ronnie and Buford. Connie was the best mother to Shirley and Rodney, and wife to Roy. She leaves behind her grandchildren Rebecca and Hannah and one great-grandchild Bria. There are also numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Anyone who knew her knew love. Everyone was always welcome at Nana's house, and you could always get a glass of sweet tea. Connie's kind heart will always be missed. She will be laid to rest with her soulmate Roy. She will forever be in our hearts and be missed each day.
Services for Ms. Turner will be held on Saturday, August 31st at 1:00 EST at Valley–Point Funeral Home 1011 North Lanier Ave Lanett, Alabama with interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Lanett.
The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Friday, August 30th from 5 until 7 pm.
