Danny J Doss, 73 of West Point GA, passed away on August 9, 2020 at his home. Danny was born in LaGrange Georgia to the late Paul Doss and Agnes Littlefield on December 24, 1946. Danny was a retired meat cutter and truck driver.

Danny was proceeded in death by his parents, his loving wife Doris Annell Doss and his great grandchildren Cole and Judson Thompson.

He left behind his son Joseph (Amy) Doss of LaGrange, daughter Brandy (Jeff) Pearson of Columbus, , Scotty (Tina) Thomas of LaGrange, and Ben Thomas of LaGrange who was not only his son but his friend and caretaker who was by his side until his death; sister Carol(Byron) Johnson; brothers Tim(Ronda)Doss, and Gary(Terri)Doss. Grandchildren include Whitney Thompson, Shelby Barber, Blake Doss, Jacob (Christian) Barber, Destiney (Dylan) Surowic, Austin Barber, Colby Barber, Brandon (Courtney) Thomas, Destiny (Andrew) Thomas, and Dakota Thomas. He had eight great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many friends.

Danny was a member of First Assembly of God in LaGrange, Ga. He loved his family dearly and was avid roller-skater.

The family will meet at the home of Joseph and Amy Doss at 532 Willie Hodnett Rd, LaGrange, GA 30240.

Funeral services will be held at Bluffton Funeral Services. 1011 N Lanier Ave, Lanett AL 36863 on Friday August 14, 2020 at 2pm EDT. Reverend Jimmy McMillian will officiate.
