David Allen Daley, age 62 of Opelika, AL, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at East Alabama Medical Center. David was born October 5, 1955 in Newport News, Virginia to the late Elizabeth "Betty" Lucinda Grimes Daley and James Harley Daley.

He has been happily married to his beloved wife Linda Geraldine Daley for 40 years. They have one daughter, Jamie (Derek) Miles of Lanett, AL and 3 beautiful grandchildren, Lexus Nichole Burrows, James "Bubba" Burrows, and Jordan Elizabeth Miles. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Paul and William "Bill" Daley. Surviving brothers include Charles (Gloria) Daley of Spartanburg, SC, John (Susan) Daley of Pensacola, FL, and Jimmy (Becky) Daley of Lexington, SC.

David loved fishing and was an avid Dale Earnhardt fan. He adored his wife, daughter, and grandchildren with all his heart and had numerous beloved family members and friends that meant the world to him.

A memorial to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, January 13th, 2018 at 1:00 PM EST. at Bluffton Funeral Services in Lanett, AL.
