Evelyn Joyce Estes, 90, of Lanett, Alabama passed away Thursday, August 20, 2026.

Joyce was born in Chambers County, AL on June 23, 1936. She devoted her life to caring for her family and creating a home filled with love. She faithfully attended Lanier Baptist Church, where she loved her church family as well.

Joyce was preceded in death by her loving husband; Earl Estes, her mother; Bessie Mae Samuels, her brothers; Gene and Ronnie Rutland, and daughter; Evelyn Estes. She is survived by her daughters; Sandra Kennedy and Robin Quinton, son-in-law Joseph Quinton, grandchildren; Dylan & Kerra Aikens, Sierra Wood, Holly Kennedy, Cameron Kennedy, and three great grandchildren who she adored most of all; Cayson Aikens, Leighton Aikens, and Cohen Wood.

Joyce found the greatest pleasure in spending time with her family, especially her grandkids and great grandkids.

There will be a graveside service on Monday, August 24, 2026, at Oakwood Cemetery in Lanett, AL, at 11:00 AM EST. Bro. Bill King will be officiating.

Services have been entrusted to Valley-Point Funeral Services of Lanett, AL.
