Mr. George Marion Blackmon 83 of Wadley Alabama passed away at his residence on Sunday, September 8th. There was a private burial at Pleasant Grove Church in Lafayette.

Mr. Marion Blackmon Passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family Sunday, Sept. 8, 2024 in Wadley Alabama. He was born Sept. 3rd, 1941 to William and Rosie Lee Blackmon in Wadley, Al. Marion was a loving husband to his wife, Dorothy Blackmon for 57 years.

He leaves his children, Marty Blackmon, Shane (Kathy)Blackmon, Angie Blackmon and Travis (Christy) Blackmon, as well as his grandchildren, James (Brittany) Smith, Adrianna Adams , Ryan Blackmon, Tristan (Kendra) Blackmon, Jonah Blackmon and Hunter Harmon he also had 7 great-grandchildren who all loved him dearly.

Marion was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Blackmon, and his two daughters Rosanna and Julie Blackmon.
