Gloria Faye Calhoun Stacey of Valley, AL passed peacefully in her sleep at age 92 on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at EAMC Lanier.

Gloria was born November 18, 1926 in Fairfax, AL. She was of the Assembly of God Christian faith. She loved her Lord God and her family.

She is survived by her sister, Barbara Calhoun Sanders of Lanett, AL; Daughter-in-law, Debbie Urbahns Stacey of Semmes, AL; 3 grandchildren – Jennifer (Michael) Harris of Prattville, AL, John (Stephanie) Stacey and Alison Stacey all of Semmes, AL and 2 great-granddaughters, Madison and Lily Harris, Nephew, Kenneth (Iva) Sanders of Lanett, AL, Nieces, Karen (John) Booker of Valley, AL, Jane (Paul) Wilder of Dadeville, AL and Nina Faye (Tony) Ledbetter of Opelika, AL, 8 great nieces and nephews and 15 great-great nieces and nephews.

Gloria was preceded in death by her beloved husband Charles (Charlie) W. Stacey, her son Harold W. Stacey, her parents, Herman M. Calhoun and Mary Lou Lackey Calhoun Weldon, her brother Harold Calhoun and brother-in-law Joseph Morris Sanders.

There will be a graveside service Friday, September 27th at Shawmut Cemetery, Valley AL at 11:30 am EDT. The family may be contacted at 6120 Veterans Memorial Parkway, Lanett, AL 36863.
