He was a simple man who found joy in the things that mattered most—his family, good music, favorite movies, the outdoors, and the animals he loved. He had a wonderful sense of humor and could always bring a smile to those around him with his quick wit and easygoing nature. You could often find him dressed in his favorite color, blue, usually wearing a well-loved flannel shirt and a pair of jeans. It was just who he was comfortable, genuine, and never trying to be anything other than himself. Like the Lynyrd Skynyrd song "Simple Man," he believed in keeping life uncomplicated. He believed in living simply, loving deeply, and staying true to who he was. His kindness, humor, and steady presence brought comfort to those around him. Though he will be deeply missed, his love, laughter, and the simple way he lived his life will continue to inspire all who knew him.
The family will receive friends and family on June 20th at 12 PM EST, followed by a celebration of life at 1 PM EST at Mountville Baptist Church located at 4505 Greenville Rd LaGrange Ga 30241.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that flowers be sent to Mountville Baptist. Donations may be made to the family to assist with expenses and support during this time.
