Lewis Edward (Ed) Richardson, 70, of Huguley Alabama passed away on October 9, 2019 at his residence.

The family will greet friends on Monday October 14, 2019 from 5:00-8:00pm EDT at Bluffton Funeral services in Lanett, Alabama. Funeral Services will be on Tuesday October 15, 2019 at 11:00am EDT also at Bluffton Funeral Services. Graveside services will follow at Langdale Cemetery, Valley, Alabama.

Ed was born to Fred and Ammie Richardson on October 18, 1948 in Langdale . Alabama. Ed was employed at West Point Pepperell Lanier Mill and then at Lanett Mill where he retired in 2007. Ed was an avid University of Alabama football fan as well as a fan of all college football. Ed was a Christian and had a strong faith in God.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents; son Michael Richardson; brothers Billy Richardson, Doug Richardson, Ray Wortham, and Charlie Wortham; sisters Bobbie Ruth Richardson, and Rebecca Richardson.

He is survived by his daughters Melissa and Tina Richardson; brothers Phillip and Bob Richardson; and friend Janice Richardson, and his faithful companion, his dog Marie.
