Mrs. Lillian Moore Newman,91, of Fredonia, Alabama went home to be with Jesus on July 1, 2020.

Mrs. Newman was born on January 12, 1929 to the late James (Ed) and Mary Moore of Lanett, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband James G. Newman; brother James (Zeke) Moore; sisters Bettey Danford, Juanita Pike, Mildred Spradlin, and Shirley Carter.

She is survived by her sister Julis (Abraham) Kassis; son David (Sharon) Newman of Opelika, Alabama; grandchildren Tara (Shane)Campbell, Amanda (Sean) Hudson, and Tyler Newman; great grandchildren Zach Hudson and John Fuller; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Newman was a charter member of Lanier Baptist Church in Lanett, Alabama.

A private Memorial Service will be held at Lakeview Baptist Church on September 12, 2020 at 2:00 pm CDT.

Reverend Tom McClendon will officiate.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to St Jude's Children's Hospital in Memphis TN in memory of Christopher Adams.
