Miss Peggy Ann Phillips of Lanett, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, March 19th, 2025 at East Alabama Medical Center Lanier in Valley, Alabama. She was born on August 23, 1936 in Penton, Alabama.

Miss Phillips is survived her sister, Betty Easterling, and multiple cousins from her Gregory side of the family and the Phillips side of the family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harvey Phillips, mother, Winnie Phillips, sister, Frances Phillips Forrester and her brother, Wheeler Phillips.

Miss Phillips graduated from Lanett High School and retired from Ampex in 2000. Her hobbies included flower gardening, reading and Facebook.

Visitation for Miss Phillips will be held on Saturday, March 22nd from 2:00 – 3:00 PM EST with the funeral to follow at 3:00 PM EST at Huguley Church of the Nazarene in Lanett, Alabama with Reverend Gary Aldridge officiating.

Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Lanett.
