Obituary

Rodney Aaron Lott, 51, of Valley, Alabama gained his heavenly reward on August 1, 2020.

Rodney was born in Langdale, Alabama on April 12, 1969 to the late Walter and Lynda Lott.

Survivors include his wife Carmen Lott, his siblings Barbara Lott, Ashley Lott, and CJ (Will) Thames; nieces and nephews Amber Nicole Lott, Nathan Strong, Raegan Strong, A'Miracle Lott and Zaden Lott. He is also survived by Bobby and Beverly Brewster, his family of choice.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his niece Jasmine Lott.

Rodney was a dedicated member of West Point Presbyterian Church where he taught children's Sunday School for many years. He was known for his intense love of the Lord and his deep desire to help others. He would often be seen praying for others whether at the pharmacy, on the side of the road or in the Kroger parking lot. He loved to sing in church, at nursing homes or with family. Rodney never met a stranger and he genuinely wanted to know everyone's name and their story. He was a great husband, brother, uncle, cousin, neighbor and friend.

The family will greet friends for Visitation on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at 1:00 pm EDT in Davis Hall of West Point Presbyterian Church, West Point Georgia.

A memorial service will be held following visitation at 2:00 pm EDT in the sanctuary of West Point Presbyterian Church.

Reverend Gerald Ledbetter will officiate.
