Mr. Walter Jacobs Meadors, Jr., 77, of Auburn, Alabama died on July 17, 2020 at Bethany House in Auburn, Alabama. Walter Jr. was born in West Point, Georgia on April 24, 1943 to the late Walter Jacobs and Evelyn McEachern Meadors.

Mr. Meadors is survived by his two brothers, Drexel (Candy) Meadors of Lake Martin, Alabama and Dwight (Beverly) Meadors of Pelham, Alabama; five nieces and nephews, Emily (Bradley) McEntyre, Stephanie (Michael) Danciu, Laura (Josh) Ballard, Dan (January) Meadors, and Craig (Iris) Meadors; and fourteen great-nieces and nephews.

Mr. Meadors was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church where he served as an acolyte and vestry member. He was employed by West Point Stevens for 48 years. He was a good son, a good brother, and a good friend to all he knew. He will be greatly missed by his family.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 20, 2020 at 1:00 pm CDT at Cusseta Cemetery in Cusseta, Alabama. The Reverend Bob Blackwell will officiate.
