Obituary

Mr. Willis Randall Ball, 83, of Lanett, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at his home. Mr. Ball is survived by his wife Linda of 18 years, three children Gina (Jody) Bays, Stephen (Trina) Green, and April Beyer; 9 grandchildren Jennifer, William and Catherine Bays, Maegan Green, Grant and Kaylee Beyer, Ashley (Cody) Martin, Krystal and Maria; numerous great-grandchildren, and one sister Zara Phillips.

He was preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Effie Ball, and his Uncle Donald and Aunt Cuteen Grate.

Mr. Ball was born August 20, 1938 and lived in several states including Georgia, Tennessee, Michigan, Minnesota, and North Carolina during his lifetime career.

He was an American veteran having served during the Vietnam Era in the United States Army Reserves for several years. Then retired to Lanett Alabama. He was a member of the West Point Lions Cub, and was a faithful member of the West Point First United Methodist Church, having served as a Sunday school teacher, communion steward, usher, and volunteer for the soup kitchen, and CIA committee.

Funeral services will be held at West Point First United Methodist on Friday, April 8, 2022 at 11 A.M Est, with Rev. Eric Mays officiating. Bluffton Funeral Services is in charge of the arrangements.

The family wishes to thank their beloved family and church family who supported them with prayers, calls, texts, food, and visits. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to West Point First United Methodist Church.
