What are Advance Directives? Do I need an Advance Directive?
Advance directive for health care gives an individual the right to select a medical agent to make decisions on their behalf and select their end-of-life treatment options. The form also allows for post-death decisions such as autopsy requests, organ donations, and the final disposition of the body.
A living will or advance directive allows you to document your wishes concerning medical treatments at the end of life.
