Steve Cagle

Apprentice Funeral Director​

Steve Cagle is the Apprentice Funeral Director at Valley-Point Funeral Home and Cremation since 2022.   He was born and raised in Marietta, Georgia but relocated to LaGrange, Georgia where he  graduated from LaGrange College.


He moved to West Point, Georgia in the early 80’s where he resides today.  He is married to Kay Cagle and has three sons and six grandchildren. 

 
Prior to working at Valley-Point Funeral Home, Steve retired from the Troup County School System Maintenance Department.  He was also employed as a firefighter/paramedic with the City of West Point for fifteen years.

 
During his spare time, Steve enjoys coaching Little Leage baseball, watching Alabama football, (Roll Tide!), woodworking, attending concerts and working in the yard.
